It was like having a bunch of stage actors trying to perform a Stargate story and filming them on their first rehearsal The fighting is slow, terribly choreographed, and forced.

The lines are halting and unconvincing. It is neither funny nor does it come anywhere close to doing justice to the Stargate Universe.

I read reviews from people saying "I didn't watch the ending, but this is not how it was in Stargate I have seen all the Stargates multiple times and I enjoyed the plot of this one too.

Sadly it is obvious that MGM went low budget on everything. They don't seem to have much faith in the Stargate brand anymore and they didn't want to sink much cash into this.

So the CGI is weak. The acting isn't always top notch perhaps they weren't given much time to keep the budget down.

Not all the scenes are very well written or thought out It's not perfect. But it is still, in this Stargate fan's opinion, a very good story if you actually watch the whole thing.

And if you are a stargate fan and want the budget to improve, you need to look past the petty little things. Enjoy the story, support these projects, and maybe MGM will give the next season a bigger budget.

After all, SG1 started out with a relatively low budget too. MGM - SG fans deserve it done right, again, but this sad web disaster was a waste of time.
