Verified Purchase. I love watching Depardieu and Reno, but they can't carry such a hackneyed plot. Two big guys dressed as women or in bath robes running around in the streets.
Boy that's funny. Reno could be threatening and annoyed in his sleep. Depardieu had to stretch his skills to look and act like an idiot, with funny hair.
I've seen worse movies is the highest praise I can give it. Watch "48 hours" or "Nuns on the Run" and you will get more laughs. Such a funny movie!

His name is like a quality mark to me. If I see "directed by F. Veber", I know that the quality is guaranteed. It also applies to the latest "Tais-toi!
If you love French comedies you will enjoy the movie without any doubt. I never realised how talented Gerard Deppadieu was, he is terrific as the sub normal idiot.
An absolute classic performance worthy of commendation. Fully recommend this DVD. If you are a Jean Reno fan you would really enjoy this film.

This is an absolutely hilarious film done in true French style with the two greatest side-kicks you could ask for. If this doesn't get you into world cinema nothing will.
Jean and Gerard show they can do comedy to the heights they do drama. Can't find a French copy with English subtitles but the Thai version on sale does have English subtitles.
The blu-ray is excellent quality,a much clearer picture with DTS HD sound but the language barrier so why on sale here I don't know.
Ironically the Thai version does but on dvd only. Get the widescreen version although you won't get the extras.
