MÄNNERHERZEN - Bruce Berger - StudioaufnahmeFor me this is one of the few German movies that was really worth going to the movie theatre for. Justus Dohnanyi gives an amazing performance as the German "Schmaltz" popstar Bruce Berger, who sings these horrible, sappy songs about saving the earth.
His scenes are sensationally funny, but also equally tragic and i hope this guy wins some award for his crazy performance here. But all the other actors were outstanding too, their timing is right on the money and even though some scenes are rather over the top, the acting isn't.

Niklas is playing the dating game while Philip becomes a father and Günther has very particular issues in his relationship. A truly great comedy for men and women with heart and mind.
The first one was so successful, they had to make another one. Having said that, there is still some major issues with some of the characters and they are not as funny as they were the first time around, which is a shame.
Still there is your old gang from part 1 coming back, though I don't think it's that necessary to have seen the first movie to get this. But since the first one was better you may want to watch it anyway.
